Bruton Brogue Mark Last Goodyear Welt Dress Shoe

£650.00

The Bruton Brogue takes the character of a traditional British dress shoe and gives it a distinctly Mayfair identity, recalling Bruton Street. Brogues began as practical footwear in Scotland and Ireland, where holes through the uppers allowed water to drain on wet ground. As the style moved into fashionable wardrobes, those functional perforations became the decorative broguing recognised today.

Made to order with Goodyear welt construction, the Bruton brings that heritage into modern city dressing. The Mark-last example is shown in polished black French calf leather with red leather lining and a hand-painted red sole: a restrained exterior with a flash of individuality beneath. Choose your preferred materials and available finishing details, then wear these men’s leather brogues with business tailoring, a tweed jacket or tailored weekend trousers.

Your shoes are made by artisan generational shoemakers who take pride in crafting every pair individually made to order for you.

Made in Spain in around four working weeks and shipped worldwide by express courier to you.
